How To Make MP3 DVD , Nero Digital DVD or WMA DVD

The procedure for creating a DVD project using MP3 files, WMA files, and Nero Digital Audiofiles differs only when choosing the first category in Nero StartSmart. All further steps will be identical.

This guide explains the procedure for creating a Nero Digital Audio DVD Project.

F.Y.I. You will need a special MP3 player, WMA player, or Nero Digital Audio to play a burnedMP3 disc, WMA disc, or NeroDigital Audio disc - normal audio players without this special file support cannot play such a disc!

How to start a Nero Digital Audio DVD:

Click on Make Nero Digital Audio DVD in Nero StartSmart.

How to start a MP3 DVD:

Click on Make MP3 DVD in Nero StartSmart:

How to start a WMA DVD:

Click on Make WMA DVD in Nero StartSmart.

Click the Add button in the My Audio disc window.

Browse for the MP4 files (Nero Digital Audio files) you want to use and highlight them before you click the Add button.

Click the Close button if all MP4 files have been added to the compilation.

(If you create a WMA DVD project use WMA files; for a MP3 DVD project use MP3 files):

Click the Next button to continue.

Select the final burn settings.

(1) Current recorder

Select the recorder you want to use

(2) Insert a Disc name

(3) Select the Writing speed

(4) Write Method

The write method is for all Audio DVDs is Disc-at-once.

This setting cannot be changed.

(5) Determine maximum speed

A speed test is performed before recording.

Nero will determine the safest maximum speed for burning your disc.

(6) Simulation

A simulation burn will be performed to check if the disc is ready.

No data is actually written on the disc.

(7) Write

Starts the actual physical burning process.

(8) Finalize disc

This box is checked by default for all audio DVD compilations.

No further audio tracks can be added to a burned audio DVD.

(Unlike Data DVDs, a multisession standard for Audio DVDs does not exist )

(9) Select the Number of copies

(10) Allow files to be added later

Creates a multisession disc.

Further data can be added to the disc later. The disc will not be finalized.

Refer to the Nero Express manual for further details about creating multisession discs.

F.Y.I. Multisessions discs might not be readable for some MP3 players !

(11) Verify data on disc after burning

Nero compares the burned files on the disc bit by bit with the original files on the hard drive.

Click the Burn button to start the burning process.

Nero will open the following window if it does not detect a blank DVD R or DVD RW medium in the recorder drive.

Insert a blank disc. Nero will detect the disc and will start the burning process automatically. ( Do not click the Cancel button !)

Follow the status of the burning process in this window:

(1) Process status

Progress bar of the burning process.

The burning process has been completed successfully.

Click the OK button to continue.

Click the Next button to finish the burning process.

Select one of the following options to finish the MP3 CD burning process.

(1) start new project

(2) make labels,

(3) save the CD project to your hard drive

(4) Exit Nero Express.
